KeyCrane is a small set of hardware tests that run in your browser: keyboards, mice, controllers, microphones, cameras and screens.

Key presses, clicks, microphone audio and camera video are handled on your own device and are never recorded or uploaded. The camera and microphone tests ask for permission because there is no other way to show you whether the device works, and the stream is dropped the moment you leave.

The site is paid for by advertising. There are no accounts, no subscriptions and no paid tier, and no tool is deliberately limited to sell you a better version of itself. Where a tool does have a limit, it is a technical one and the page says so plainly.
